Money that does not have to be paid back, usually based on need.

Federal Pell Grant

The actual amount of each grant depends on the student’s eligibility which is determined by the results of the student's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the number of credit hours they are enrolled each semester. The Pell grant is based on full time status, which is 12 or more credits. Actual disbursement amounts will automatically adjust based on actual credit hours of enrollment. Pell Grant pays based on credit hours, not a full or part time status.

Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements in order to be eligible.


Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (SEOG) Grant award is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis based on the following criteria.

Priority will be given to students that meet the following criteria:

  • Pell eligible
  • Not awarded other aid sources that cover tuition

SEOG will be awarded at $600 max.

SEOG is awarded at the discretion of the FA office and is subject to change. Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements in order to be eligible.
