Marcus Matthews currently serves as Associate Vice President of Workforce and Economic Development (WED). Mr. Matthews holds a bachelor’s of science from Grand Valley State University, a Master’s of Science in Administration degree from Central Michigan University, and is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Ferris State University. Mr. Matthews has over 15 years of experience in higher education including workforce development, student services, career development, grant development and management, supervision and program/curriculum development.
Renee David has been with Mott Community College for 14 years and is the Director of the Corporate Service and Lifelong Learning Department. Ms. David works with companies and community programs that provide training and services to Genesee County and the surrounding areas. Ms. David also assists with grant development, budgeting and reporting for funders as part of program evaluation and/or grant compliance. Ms. David holds a master’s of business administration from Cleary University (2016), a bachelor’s of Business from Cleary University (2013) and associate degrees in Business Administration and General Education (Lansing Community College) as well as certificates in Time Management and Financial Management (Lansing Community College). Renee is a Leading Mott Strong 2023 graduate, attended the Michigan Community College Association Leadership Academy in 2023 and 2024, and earned the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Micro-Credential in 2022.
