Jeanne Clery Disclosures

The Department of Public Safety strives to advise the community about campus crime and related crime problems on a timely basis.

The Safety and Security Information report reflects annual data of crimes reported to the Department.

Under the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Statistics Act the college campus must report this data to the FBI and to the State of Michigan. Updates are posted each year in January. Prior to posting, updates are available upon request.

Special Alerts may be issued on the campus television system. Special Alerts are used to report active crimes.

In the event that a situation which constitutes imminent danger or ongoing or continuing threat, a campus "timely warning" Crime Alert bulletin may be initiated using various means of communication and will include a red banner alert on the top of the pages of the College’s website .
