The Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) is a record of a student's involvement in educational experiences taking place outside of the classroom. The Workforce Promise program is designed to encourage significant student involvement in the learning process by documenting academic experiences that take place outside the classroom.
Students will earn digital badges that will be displayed in the digital portfolio with printable options. Each digital badge matches one of the 8 competencies. The digital badges are milestones students attain while completing the Workforce Promise. Once all 8 are earned and the portfolio is completed, a student can submit an application for earning the Workforce Promise endorsement.
Students will be able to measure these competencies through assessments and will also be able to gain these skills through workshops, in-class presentations, work based learning opportunities, and other college related activities.

MCC offers more than just technical skills to our students when they earn degrees, certificates, and career training. MCC students develop employability skills alongside the technical skills needed to be successful in their respective fields. Employers are telling us that employability skills are what students need to have in addition to the technical skills to be successful in chosen career fields. The Workforce Promise will provide a platform for graduates to display all their skills, especially employability skills.
