MCC Alumni Night at the Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors was held at the Little Caesars Arena on Fri., January 31.
The annual community-wide Martin Luther King, Jr. Tribute Dinner was held on January 16, 2020, and featured guest speaker Janice Ferebee, MSW, Docent at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.

The 2019 Distinguished Alumni & Outstanding Retiree Awards Ceremony was held on October 10 at MCC's Event Center. This year's alumni honorees were Mark Bauman, Melany Gavulic, the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kelly, and the Honorable Larry Stecco. The retiree honored was Sharon Naughton. Inaugural Distinguished Alumni award recipient Judge Ramona Roberts Gibson joined the event for a book signing reception of her book, Karma's Street Justice.
The 17th Annual Heritage Society dinner was held at MCC's Culinary Arts Institute in downtown Flint on September 26th. The dinner is held annually to honor The Foundation for MCC's planned giving, major, annual giving, and endowment donors.
