you can get credit for what you’ve learned in the workplace or the community.
Earning Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) can reduce the time involved in earning your
degree and save you money; the more CPL that you earn, the fewer courses you need
to take to complete your certificate or degree.

Steps

Contact the advising office to identify and connect with the appropriate academic
area to learn about Credit for Prior Learning opportunities.

The divisional representative explains all CPL options for students and decides on
the best option.

Application and documentation are submitted for review.

Department reviews and approves, denies, or requests additional information from the
student.
6
Credits are added to the academic transcripts by the Registrar.
