Psychology is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. It is the mission of the psychology discipline at MCC to provide an effective learning environment where students develop critical thinking skills which lay the groundwork for future educational experiences. A wide variety of psychology courses are offered in order to provide students with the psychology foundation necessary to complete a two-year degree here at MCC as well as to prepare them for transfer to a four-year institution.
A degree with a concentration in Psychology offers many career opportunities. Career Coach allows you to explore different career options for the degree you are pursuing. You can even take a look at each job title to see an in-depth overview, salary, job growth, and live job postings.
