Environmental Science is an interdisciplinary field that includes both scientific and social aspects of the human impact on the world. The environmental science area at MCC provides an effective learning environment where students develop critical thinking skills which lay the groundwork for future educational experiences. MCC offers a wide variety of courses in the environmental sciences that provides students with the necessary foundation to complete a two-year degree here at MCC as well as to prepare them for transfer to a four-year institution.
A degree with a concentration in Environmental Science offers many career opportunities. Career Coach allows you to explore different career options for the degree you are pursuing. You can even take a look at each job title to see an in-depth overview, salary, job growth, and live job postings.
