Career & Technical Education (CTE) Month is a national public awareness campaign that takes place each February to celebrate the value of CTE and the achievements and accomplishments of CTE Programs across the country.
The MCC Perkins Special Populations Program (SP) recognizes and celebrates the national CTE Awareness month by highlighting and introducing to the public, the numerous CTE Programs offered at MCC, and also by supporting students who are currently enrolled in CTE Programs. The Perkins SP Program is funded by the State of MI and is designed to assist MCC students enrolled in CTE programs of study by providing various support services and resources. For CTE Month 2025, the Perkins SP Program will be offering beneficial workshops to current MCC students that can assist students as they prepare to enter the workforce as a professional in their respective fields. MCC students can partake of one or all of the scheduled workshops each week throughout the month of February.
