Daily administration of the child care and education program is the responsibility of the Director. The Director has a master’s degree with a background in early childhood and coursework in administration. The administration also includes the Assistant Director who provides program oversight.
GSRP Lead Teachers have a Bachelor’s degree or higher level completed course-work in early childhood education, child development or a related field. GSRP Associate teachers support the teachers with the implementation of classroom lessons and activities and typically hold a child development credential (CDA), or an associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education, child development or a related field. GSRP Assistant teachers are part-time staff who work alongside the professional staff within the classroom to offer support in the care of the children.
Early Learning Canter Faculty have degrees in Early Childhood Education. ECLC Assistants have completed course work in early childhood education.
All ECLC staff have an eligible rating from the State of Michigan Child Care Fingerprinting Background Check System. All professional staff has a current certification in CPR and Pediatric First Aid.
