Susan Hinton - Faculty - Counseling

Susan Hinton is an adjunct faculty member in Counseling and Student Development. She has been with MCC since 2006. Susan earned her B.S. degree from Eastern Michigan University and her M.A. in counseling from Oakland University in 2004. Prior to coming to Mott, she worked in Career Development at Rochester Community Schools. She also worked as a high school and middle school guidance counselor.

Her teaching interest includes Job Seeking Skills, Career Exploration and Decision Making, Study Skills, College Survival Skills and Stress Management.

Susan resides in Holly and has 3 grown children. In her free time she loves to travel and has recently been on a cruise to Eastern Europe. Her other interests include exploring antique shops and flea markets to find items to decorate or repurpose.
