Melissa Rueterbusch - Faculty - Economics

I grew up in Oxford, Michigan and graduated from Oxford High School many years ago. After high school I attended Central Michigan University where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Economics two years later. In 2004 I earned a PhD from Michigan State University where I studied Higher Education, with a specific focus on the economics of education. I've worked at various institutions over the years in teaching and administrative positions, however I have been at MCC since 2000. I believe that MCC is a wonderful institution that strives to offer the best possible experience for each and every student. I live in Frankenmuth, Michigan. I am married and have a son who is a music major at University of Michigan. I don't have much spare time but I love to take walks and hikes and am addicted to family history (genealogy!).
