Cheryl Doyle - Faculty - Dental Hygiene

Cheryl Doyle began her teaching career in 2010 at Mott Community College, in the dental hygiene program. Along with working part time at MCC, she has also worked full time in private practice for 37 years.

Cheryl’s college career began at MCC and she is very proud to return to teach in the community where she grew up. She received her Associate’s in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene in 1985 from Mott Community College. She went on to complete her Bachelor’s in Health Services Administration from Baker College in 2007. In 2014, she earned her Master’s in Human Services with a concentration in Community Health from Concordia University. Ms. Doyle belongs to the American Dental Hygiene Association, Michigan Dental Hygiene Association, and the Capital Region Dental Hygiene Association. She has also served as a delegate to the MDHA House of Delegates meeting. She is currently the Trustee for Capital Region Dental Hygiene Association. She was awarded the Outstanding Dental Hygienist of the Year from the Michigan Dental Hygienists Association in 2021. Additionally, Cheryl is very involved in community service and received the Center for Teaching and Learning Community Service Award in 2018. Her wish is to inspire students to serve and make a positive difference in their communities.

Cheryl grew up in Flint and currently lives in Clio with her husband and son. She is the proud mother of two sons who also graduated from MCC. She has a love for all animals, enjoys traveling, hiking, bowling, and photography.
