Gateway to College
A program designed for young adults ages 16-24 who have dropped out of high school or are significantly behind in credits for their age and not on track to graduate. The program allows students to complete their high school diploma requirements on a college campus while simultaneously earning college credits towards a degree or certificate. Emergency Announcements
In the event of a weather related school closing or other emergency announcement participants signed up for the Emergency Notification System will receive a phone or text message alert. Additionally, we may also use Webmail, local media and the MCC Hotline at 232-8989 to announce emergencies. View additional information on school closings here.
Metro Flint Youth Build Programs
If you are between the ages of 16-24 and have stopped or dropped out of school Mott Community College and Flint Youth Build are giving you a real second chance, by allowing you to Earn While You Learn. To participate in these programs stop by Metro Flint Youth Build inside the Oak Business Center on 2712 N. Saginaw Street in Flint or at Mott Community College - Workforce Education Center on 709 N. Community Technology Centers:
CTC's provide computer access and training. Specific centers place special emphasis on minority, DisAbled and Spanish-speaking individuals.
Corrections Officer Training
MCC is a Michigan Department of Corrections Training facility - offering an 8 week Corrections Officer Training Program beginning Winter semester 2015. Registration for this program begins September 15, 2014.
