Yes, the certificate program is recognized by employers as a career credential and will show up on your transcript as noncredit course work.

How can I complete a certificate program?

The first step is calling the Workforce Development office or stopping into the Workforce Education Center for information about an Information Session. This session is casual and informal so you can ask any question.

What if I do not know what job or career I want?

Mott has the tools and resources to assist you along with experienced and educated staff.

What if I cannot pay for a certificate program?

There are grants, scholarships and other avenues to help you pay for a certificate program.

If I complete a certificate program will Mott help me find a job?

Yes, Mott staff will begin assisting you while you are in the classroom.

What if I did not do so well in high school?

Mott is committed to your success. Mott instructors are engaged in your learning and care about you not just your education. The certificate programs are set up in cohort. This means you will be in class with the same people from start to finish, before you know it friendships turn into a “family”.
