Simply put, we do things differently than your local pet store, the Dog Pound, or Animal Control. Our focus has always been the overpopulation and care of companion animals (dogs, cats, puppies and kittens) of Genesee County. Though we offer programs to surrender a pet, we do not actively seek out and capture stray animals. As a dog walker, groomer, fundraiser or communications representative, help the Humane Society today! There is a $10 cost to volunteer, this covers your tshirt and name badge!
