Campus Communications

Message

The MarComm office works closely with the President and Executive Cabinet to craft messages that are informative and consistent with our overarching goals and the mission of the College. These messages take the shape of news releases, interview topics, speeches, social media posts, campus notifications and more. The MarComm office is equipped with messaging specialists to ensure all of our communications represent the real Mott Community College.

Brand

Branding is an ongoing, strategic process that requires the look, the feel, and the voice of the College to shift seamlessly in response to changing trends in communications. This means that written content and design need a gatekeeper that is up-to-date on these trends--that gatekeeper in the MarComm office.

Crisis Communications

In the event of a crisis on campus, a weather related closure or emergency, etc, the MarComm office works with the Office of Public Safety and the President to inform all students, faculty, and staff of what the crisis means for them.
