The Women's Basketball program at MCC has become extremely competitive
and a factor in the community college scene at the national level.
The Lady Bears compete in the Michigan
Community College Athletic Association's Eastern Conference, as well as Region XII of the
National
Junior College Athletic Association. Each year the team
posts outstanding achievements including the following Lady Bear Titles:
Eastern Conference Champions 2001, 2006
MCCAA State Champions 2007
NJCAA Region/District Champions 1999, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008
NJCAA National Tournament Placements 1999 - 4th Place
2005 - 4th Place
2007- 3rd Place
2008 - 4th Place

as Head Coach. She is supported
by a well-seasoned staff.
