Welcome to MCC's new, high-tech language lab.

A wonderful location to get personal tutoring assistance, study in groups, practice pronunciation, or watch foreign news broadcasts. The languages we teach and support are Arabic, Chinese, French, Japanese, German, Russian, Spanish, and ESL (English as a Second Language).

Features
The Language Lab is designed for multi-purpose use.

Group study spaces - several round tables and chairs for study groups or one-to-one tutoring
Television viewing - a 63" rear projection television is connected for international news access
VCR viewing stations - two flat screen stations have individual VCR's
Video Tape Library - extensive collection of tapes in many languages
Web accessible computer stations - 14 new pc stations with personal headphones. Use for web-based tutoring or use your textbook's CD
Wireless headphones can be used to listen to programming without disturbing other users in the lab

Faculty & Staff

Success in a foreign language requires lots of practice. The Language Lab provides a great environment and personal assistance.

Open Lab Availability
The lab is open daily Monday through Friday. Please check the lab hours as this facility is also used for classes.

Personal Support
During open hours, trained lab assistants are available to help and guide students. Student assistants will prepare tutoring web site links for each language offered at MCC.
